Prayer Plan Missions in Honduras
Nestled in the heart of Central America, Honduras is a vibrant nation with a rich local culture. From ocean coastlines to mountainous terrain, this beautiful country is full of incredible opportunities to serve on a Honduras mission trip.

Prayer Plan Missions serves in the mountain communities surrounding the village of Chaguitillos, coming along beside local churches and pastors to meet real physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our mission is lived out through church-centered, relationship-driven ministry, focused especially on widows, children, and families.
Guided by James 1:27, “True ministry that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans and widows in their troubles…”, we partner with Honduran believers in ongoing, year-round work that reflects the love of Jesus.
God is at work in the mountains of Honduras, and we invite you to join us in what He is already doing.
Minister to children through leading kids' clubs, Vacation Bible School, puppet shows, crafts, Bible stories, sports, skits, and games.
Provide tangible support through your work on various projects from painting, roofing, cement work, tiling, or whatever projects your local partner identifies in the community.
Worship alongside a local church and participate by providing special music, sermons, testimonies, or help lead Sunday School.
Bless communities through times of intercession during prayer walks or pray with local churches at a prayer meeting.
During the school year, your team could minister at local schools by leading devotions, tutoring students, observing classes, or participating in recess.
Assist the local church in outreach by handing out Bibles, street evangelism, door-to-door visits, or sharing the gospel through community movie nights.
Connect directly with youth in the community by leading a youth rally, fellowship night, or worship.
Lead parenting classes, Bible studies, or leadership training.
If your group has specialized medical or dental training, your skills can be of great help in many of our ministry locations.
This is an opportunity to deliver a bag of food, medicine and supplies to our 90+ widows in our nine villages. This a great opportunity to visit each widow in their own home, build a relationship with them and to pray over them and their needs.
Have a unique ministry that God has blessed you and your team to be able to lead? Let us know and we will incorporate it into your customized trip!

Minors (anyone under the age of 18) must complete proper release forms and be accompanied on a trip by an adult over the age of 18 who will be responsible for that individual's well-being.
Ministry will be determined by the needs of PPM and the team leader at the beginning of the registration process. Your project could include anything from painting, planting or building a structure. PPM trips also always include visiting widow homes and participating with children through our birthday parties program. Your team leader will hold at least one conference call to get everyone on the same page and coordinate ministries. All teams on the trip will work together to build an itinerary customized to your group's gifts. With all teams our itinerary is also fluid as it can change from day to day.
Teams will sleep dormitory style and will be divided by gender, Each dorm has rest rooms/showers available. Teams that choose a trip that flys out of San Pedro Sula will have the option of staying at a B&B. These rooms usually sleep 3-5 people. This is an additional added to your registration fee. All rooms are designated either male or female. There is no gender mixing.
Yes, all trips will have the availability to shower during the course of the trip.
